Art & Craft :
The school conducts regular Art & Craft classes to broaden the students' interest and discover latent talents. Special drawing classes have been set to make the students learn the art of drawing pictures and coloring them. Students are taught to make different interesting handicrafts by using objects like stick, rice, broken bangles, etc. They are trained to design several models by cutting paper, cardboard and thermocol. They are also taught to make dolls using fur. All these attempts have aim to encourage the creativity of the student. Students are trained to attend various competitions.
Value Education :
The school aims at all round developed personality of the students which is the result of strong character and positive thinking backed by time-tested moral values especially in the era when the cherished values are declining precipitously. Therefore, there is a tremendous need for value education to be integrated with the school curriculum to enable them to blossom into morally strong and confident citizens of tomorrow.
Games & Sports (Physical Education & Yoga) :
The school provides facilities for games and sports to encourage healthy competition, character building and physical stamina.
Inter-house competitions are conducted in all available games both for senior and junior students.
Yoga classes are also held. Scout is also introduced . An imperative importance is given to the yoga classes.
Both the junior and seniors students attend the yoga classes.
In these classes, students are made to learn meditation and self-control.
They are taught how to practice breathing-control. Nay, they are convinced of the great necessity of yoga in their day-to-day life.
Further but most important thing is that students shall be imparted training in martial arts like KARATE experts regularly on designated days.
More emphasis is given in case of girl students.
Music & Dance :
Regular Music and Dance classes are planned for the students. The school provides facility to learn playing all musical instruments. Expert Music & Dance teachers are appointed. They make the children step into the fathomless ocean of music and dance. Keeping in view the interest of pupil, the teacher teaches how to play different musical instruments. Students are trained to sing classical as well as light songs. They are given the training on classical, folk and light dances. Special care is given to Odishi Dance. Several competitions in this field are frequently conducted among the students to arouse a competitive spirit" Its hidden purpose is to create artists of high class.
The House :
The students have been grouped into four houses Ganga, Yamuna, Bansadhara and Mahanadi houses to include the spirit of responsibility and healthy rivalry among them. Inter-house competitions in academic, culture, elocution, de-bate, quiz, recitation, conversation, essay writing, sit & draw, memory test are conducted.
Function and Festival :
School celebrates all the national festivals and poojas. Our students participate in the Republic Day and Independence Day programs held at local stadium and they have been winning the trophy for their Drill regularly..
Medical Facility :
School has been conducting regular health check-up camps on its campus. All the students below 'the age of five years are checked for immunization with various vaccines.
Picnic and Excursion :
The school takes all the students for picnic. These picnics help the students in big way. They not only enjoy these picnics but also learn about the historical places of our surroundings.
For senior students we have started conducting excursion to enable them to leant about different projects and historical places. They are taught on the spot about these projects and later on they elaborate the things and get necessary- information about those.
